Experimental testing of hydroinsulating injection screens efficiency in dependance on properties of building materials
Červenka, Martin ; Černý, Vít (referee) ; Drochytka, Rostislav (advisor)
The most of the buildings are almost always faced with moisture in our climate. In the past, the humidity was reduced and conducted only by mechanical methods. Over time, chemical wet masonry method also known as chemical infusion curtain was invented and introduced into practice. This method involves the creation of boreholes at a selected height of humid masonry. These boreholes are impregnated with special solutions. These solutions in humid masonry fill pores in the field of boreholes and thanks to this subsequence the monolithic waterproofing curtain is created. The objective of this work is to determine the methodology for verifying effectiveness of various types of waterproofing injection curtains depending on the properties of the various types of building materials.

Determination of waterproofing screens efficiency in various types of building materials exposed to capillary wetness
Červenka, Martin ; Dohnálek,, Pavel (referee) ; Drochytka, Rostislav (advisor)
Increased moisture of masonry occurs mainly in older buildings. In some cases these problems arise even in new buildings. This issue should be properly treated and process of rehabilitation of the building must be executed. Humid walls can be treated by chemical injections, which is nowadays quite extensive and widely used method. Unlike mechanical methods humid walls in the implementation of chemical grouting does not need a major redesign and thus is friendly to the construction of the object. The main objective of this thesis is to establish a methodology for testing the injection materials, which will include a selection of ideal injection gel.
Energy Piles
Buzgóová, Ivana ; Miča, Lumír (referee) ; Boštík, Jiří (advisor)
In the first part of bachelor thesis, a concept of energy pile is explained and also basic information about usage of geothermal energy, montage of pile, its design and the overall operation of the system is shown. Behaviour of axially loaded energy piles is observed in the individual section. In contrast with other foundation structures, energy piles are also under thermal loading. Next, the main factors of pile behaviour are mentioned, the methods of investigation of energy piles (analytical, experimental and numerical) are described and also characteristics, results from the specific studies that were made in different parts of the world under various conditions. In the second part of the thesis, a simple numerical analysis of energy pile is carried out. The simulation of pile is performed in Plaxis 2D. The description of model, calculation phases are discussed along with achieved results and compared with published studies.

Subjecting the versatile composite wood-based material to the fire reaction test
Mračková, Agnesa
The diploma thesis focuses on fire resistance, respectively the reaction to fire of an innovative wood-based composite material in 3 material compositions, which is still a relatively unknown and non-commercial material produced in the Czech Republic. The aim of this work is to subject this new material to a test of the reaction to a small flame source according to a standardized standard and to evaluate the achieved results, which could be used in the future for further development of this material. Experimental testing in the form of the procedure of the mentioned standard, as well as statistical analyses, were used to evaluate the material's reaction to fire. Statistical analyses consider measurable material parameters, such as the charred height on the samples and its dependence on the thickness of the material, fibre orientation, or the flame application area on a given surface of the material. A partial experiment was performed for one material composition in terms of input and output weights and their comparison.
Role střevního prvoka \kur{Dientamoeba fragilis} v lidském zdraví a nemoci
KAŠPAROVÁ, Andrea
The main aim of this study was to summarize available information about the gut protist Dientamoeba fragilis with special focus on the influence of selected factors such as age, gender, travelling or lifestyle to its colonization. It was first described in 1918 by Jepps and Dobell. First, D. fragilis was classified as an amoeba but later, based on molecular studies, was revealed that it is closely related to the trichomonads. Dientamoeba fragilis has three life forms - cyst, precyst and trophozoite. Until recently, only trophozoite of D. fragilis stage was known and the way of transmission between individuals was not clear. Thus, it was hypothetised that D. fragilis trophozoites are transmitted with eggs of some worms colonizing gastrointestinal tract. Recently, the cyst and precyst stages were discovered. In addition to humans, the presence of D. fragilis has been observed in primates, pigs and some pets. Mice seem to be successful experimental models. In terms of age factor, D. fragilis is most common in young children. There have not been revealed any correlations between occurrence of D. fragilis and gender. Pathogenicity of D. fragilis is another controversial fact about this organism. In past, it was considered a pathogen causing gastrointestinal disorders, mainly in children. However, a few recent epidemiological studies focused on healthy human population highlighted that D. fragilis appears to be more common in people without no gastrointestinal problems. Despite of this, there is still a small number of epidemiological studies on people with no intestinal problems, thus, it is difficult to compare prevalence of D. fragilis between healthy populations and patients suffering from intestinal diseases. Occurrence of D. fragilis is more prevalent in developed countries in contrast to Western populations. RT-PCR was evaluated as the most optimal method of detection of this organism from stool samples. The role of this intestinal protist in health and disease remains the subject of scientific discussions. But according to some new studies this organism tends to commensal character in the human body. At the end of this theoretical work is a brief summary of the current experimental work, which will be presented in detail in the master thesis.
Experimental Testing of Prefabricated Stairs Made of Composite Materials Based on Cement and Organic Fibers
Nespěšný, Ondřej ; Vystrčil, Jan ; Cakl, Dominik
Stairs are an integral part of multi-storey buildings and must meet a few ones based mainly on technical standards. One of the basic requirements for buildings is mechanical resistance and stability, which is currently often verified by calculation methods. If the calculation methods are insufficient, the experimental methods of loading the structures described in this publication must be used. The paper summarizes the course of static loading of prefabricated stair assemblies made of composite materials based on cement and reinforcing organic fibers. The applied methods are based on European standards and guidelines for technical technical approval.
